Claudette Sandecki brings to Arbour Consulting over 12 years experience supporting children, youth, adults and families in Kelowna and the Lower Mainland. She is a knowledgeable workshop presenter and has an extensive background in crisis intervention and suicide prevention. Claudette’s approach to her practice is grounded in the belief that all people deserve care, respect, community connection and the opportunity to develop the competence that is so vital to a healthy sense of self-worth.

Claudette specializes in providing assessment and intervention strategies to individuals with complex behavioural, emotional, mental health and communication needs. She supports individuals with a wide range of diagnosis including autism and Aspergers, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, addictions, schizophrenia, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, seizure disorders, physical challenges and mild to severe mental handicaps.

Claudette works collaboratively with families, microboards, the Ministry for Children & Family Development (MCFD), psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, school teams, child and youth care workers, residential settings and other community agencies.
